The Deep Basement Shakers bring to life barrelhouse blues, jug band, ragtime and old-school, good-time roots music, featuring old-time saloon piano, washboard, upright bass and an arsenal of DIY percussion. Known for energetic performances around the bay area and beyond, The DBS dig deep into foundational American musical traditions to channel the original spirit of the tunes – to cut loose and get down. Expect boogies, stomps, rags, breakdowns, shakedowns and more.
