Frog Face: Americana, Roots & Bluegrass Live

FREE ENTRY

Frog Face brings Americana, roots and bluegrass to Mac’s at 19 Broadway in Fairfax for an intimate Sunday evening of FREE live music.

Based in San Rafael, California, Frog Face is a five-piece roots band whose music centers on bluegrass and American roots music. The band’s repertoire features original compositions alongside traditional tunes and reimaginings of obscure gems. Their sound draws from bluegrass, old-time, country, rock, folk and singer-songwriter traditions.

The band features Joe Ridout on lead guitar and vocals, Aaron Balano on dobro, Nate Alavi on mandolin and vocals, Greg Dunn on bass, and Kat Quigley on rhythm guitar and vocals. Three lead singers and layered two- and three-part harmonies give the group a dynamic, full-textured sound.
