This October, Jules Broussard brings the spirit, soul and sound of New Orleans to Fairfax for five Saturday afternoons at Mac’s at 19 Broadway.

Welcome to the Jules Broussard New Orleans Jazz Festival — a month-long celebration of live jazz in Marin County featuring one of the Bay Area’s most enduring saxophonists.

A Living Piece of Bay Area Music History

Louisiana-born Jules Broussard has been performing for more than six decades and has shared stages and recording sessions with artists including Ray Charles, Van Morrison, Carlos Santana and Boz Scaggs. UCSF documented those collaborations, and current appearances continue to bill Broussard as a Louisiana-born Bay Area jazz veteran whose career spans more than 60 years. Home
