Michael McNevin is an award-winning California singer-songwriter whose music blends Americana, folk and roots traditions with vivid storytelling, seasoned vocals and expressive guitar work.

Raised in Niles, California, McNevin writes songs that unfold like short stories. His music is filled with memorable characters, humor, heart, road stories and observations drawn from everyday life.

Rather than simply performing songs, McNevin brings listeners into the places and personalities behind them, making his live performances especially suited to an intimate listening room like Mac’s.

His career includes a Kerrville New-Folk Award, eight West Coast Songwriters “Song of the Year” awards, and appearances at festivals including Kerrville Folk Festival, Strawberry Music Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, Philadelphia Folk Festival, Redwood Ramble and SummerFolk.
