Sunhunter is the alt-rock project of Tomas Dessle, a Marin County native turned globe-trotting troubadour who’s played venues across California, the Pacific Northwest, and Asia – including crowds of 10,000. Performing solo, as a duo, or as a four-piece with Jackson Langford (guitar), Zach Norman (bass), and Josh Garcia (percussion), the band blends soaring vocals and genre-bending original songwriting with a deep, wide-ranging covers catalog spanning Bowie to Radiohead to Pink Floyd. Known for marathon three-hour sets and a knack for reading any room, Sunhunter was named Best Local Band 2025 by Pacific Sun Weekly’s Readers’ Choice Awards and is gearing up for a full-length debut album this November.
